The evil Adeline Bordeaux
Adeline Bordeaux (Gina Simms) is the main villainess from the 2023 Lifetime film, Nightmare Pageant Moms (airdate May 25, 2023).
Backstory and Introduction[]
Adeline Bordeaux is the mother of Liliana Bordeaux, with Adeline's backstory revealing that her mother, Rebecca Bordeaux, was a multiple time pageant winner. Despite this, and also in spite of entering several different pageants herself, Adeline never won one herself, and she had been attempting to gain pageant success through Liliana, which caused a strain in her marriage to her husband (Liliana's father), Patrick.
The film opened with Adeline approaching Harper Bailey, a rival of Liliana's in the film's central contest, a mother/daughter pageant. The confrontation became heated when Harper mentioned Adeline's shady methods and her divorce, leading to Adeline bludgeoning Harper to death and portraying the murder as a robbery gone wrong. A gathering for all of the contestants saw Adeline send her cohort, Darcy Johnson, to gain info on main protagonists Emilia and Sophie Connors, and afterwards, the villainess ordered Darcy to plant drugs on one of the contestants, threatening to go public with Darcy's affair if she didn't comply.
The contestants were set to rehearse their acts, but before their performances, Adeline destroyed her dress with a pair of scissors and attempted to set up Emilia, only for Rebecca to realize what her daughter was up to and order her to recant her confession. After the rehearsals, Adeline and Liliana were one of the finalist pairs, along with the main protagonists, and after hearing one of the judges, Cyrus, praise Emilia, Adeline attempted to curry Cyrus' favor by seducing him, only for Cyrus to rebuff the villainess' advances, leading to Adeline shoving Cyrus over the ledge, killing him instantly.
Climax and Arrest[]
After killing Cyrus, Adeline manipulated Faye, the woman running the pageant, into hiring Warren Sandler (Adeline's lover) to replace Cyrus as a judge, while also condoning another judge, Franklin, flirting with Liliana--even telling Liliana to entice him to get his vote. Later on, Sophie overheard Adeline and Darcy's conversation, and later informed Mia (Darcy's daughter) that Adeline had been using Darcy's affair (which Mia had already known about) to blackmail her into doing her bidding. Once Darcy quit the pageant in response to Mia's ultimatum, Adeline responded with indifference and a comment that they were never friends outside the pageant.
The film's climax saw the pageant being featured as a news story, but as Adeline was set to present herself, as well as Liliana, video of Adeline with Cyrus played in front of everyone, as Emilia and Sophie worked with Patrick, Darcy, and Liliana to expose the villainess, who attempted to deny killing Cyrus. Sophie later revealed that Adeline killed Harper, while Faye added that Adeline had recommended Warren as a replacement judge. Rebecca confronted Adeline regarding her actions, but in response, the evil Adeline claimed that she was becoming just like her mother, who slapped Adeline afterwards.
The madwoman grabbed a knife and threatened to kill her mother, who took the knife and lambasted her failure to go through with her threat. As she was surrounded by everyone, Adeline admitted to killing Harper and Cyrus, claiming that she committed her evil actions for Liliana, as well as to please Rebecca, while accusing her mother of loving pageants more than her daughter. Rebecca continued to refer to Adeline as a disgrace and a failure, leading the villainess to wail incessantly before her off-screen arrest.

- To prepare the role as Adeline, Gina Simms herself competed on pageants having won the titles of Miss Nevada and Miss Nevada USA under her maiden name, Gina Giacinto.
- Gina Simms also played villainess Bonnie Mason in 2022's Nightmare Neighborhood Moms. Coincidentally, both films are directed by actor-director Linden Ashby.
