Evil crime boss Abigail
Abigail (Kelly Hope Taylor) is the main villainess from the 2023 Lifetime film, Don't Sell My Baby (originally titled, Danger Rocks the Cradle; airdate May 4, 2023).
Abigail was introduced as running an adoption agency for pregnant teens, but as the film's opening established, she was actually using the agency to head a baby-selling ring. The pregnant teenage girls all came from a group home run by Rachel Medford, a conspirator who recommended Abigail to the girls. Abigail's backstory revealed that one girl she abducted was Misty Miller, who was held captive until she gave birth, which was followed by the baby being sold to a couple looking to adopt.
Misty received payment afterwards, however, another girl, Brooke Simmons, refused to give up her baby and escaped from the facility. Brooke's case was being tracked by her best friend, Nicolette (the film's main protagonist), who was also pregnant. However, Abigail sent her henchman, Alex, to kill Brooke, with Alex running down Brooke, whose murder was witnessed by Nicolette. The proceeding events saw Abigail being introduced to Nicolette, with the villainess making her offer to purchase her baby for adoption.
Abigail was later confronted by her nurse, Claudia, who voiced her problems with her role, only adding that she was participating to pay for her mother's care. Though Abigail appeared to be caring, she would later send Alex to kill Claudia to cover her tracks, with Alex stabbing Claudia to death later that evening. When Nicolette voiced her plans to keep her baby (revealed to be a boy), the evil Abigail sent Alex to abduct Nicolette and hold her captive at the agency, which is where Nicolette learned about Abigail's criminal business, as well as her role in Brooke's murder,
The villainess informed Nicolette that Brooke had problems with their arrangement, while also voicing her plans to sell Nicolette's baby to another couple, but as she was outside her office, she was confronted by Sandy Ridling, Nicolette's teacher, who demanded Nicolette's whereabouts. Abigail took out her pepper spray, only for Sandy to retrieve the object and spray the villainess right in her eyes before entering the facility to free Nicolette. Afterwards, Abigail sent Alex to kill Sandy, but afterwards, Sandy and Nicolette subdued Alex, with Abigail entering and later displaying a stunned expression as she heard police sirens close by, leading to Abigail's arrest.
