Abby's unnamed mother is the main villainess from My Mom Fed Me Outdated Food for Years, I Revenge by Turning the Plates on Her, a short story released by ETU - Animated Stories (release date October 12, 2020).
Backstory/Introduction[]
19-year-old Abby's narration revealed that she was part of a family of four people, along with her unnamed younger brother.
In addition, Abby's parents loved her throughout her childhood until her brother's birth, after which the protagonist noticed that her parents shifted their focus on him and began to neglect their daughter. As the story showed, Abby's mother habitually looked at her daughter with disgust (with her husband following suit) accusing the girl of being spoiled whenever she asked for anything.
When Abby was 15 years old, she got a part-time job and earned money to impress her parents, only for both of them to only be happy that they didn't have to spend their money on her. By the time she was in her last year of high school, Abby became used to her parents' treatment of her, and when she informed her mother that she invited her best friend, Amber, to study with her, Abby's mother sternly told her daughter to keep a close eye on her, suggesting that Amber was a thief solely due to the fact that she was Abby's friend.
Reveal[]
Amber appeared while Abby was alone in the house, and afterwards, both girls went to the kitchen for something to eat, only for Amber to discover an alarming reveal: all of the food in the fridge and cabinet had been expired. The protagonist was shocked by this discovery, referring to the expired food as a mistake by her mother; however, Amber questioned her best friend's assumption and asked her if she had been eating expired food for a long period of time. In addition, Abby revealed that she had been sick on a number of occasions due to food poisoning, while her parents and her brother are healthy, leading both the girls to realize that Abby's parents had been purposely feeding expired food to their daughter.
Abby was shocked by the realization that her parents could be so cruel to her, but afterwards, she agreed to assist Amber in a trap to catch her callous parents. The trap included Amber and her father (a policeman) visiting the house for dinner, with Abby's mother becoming nervous over their presence. After claiming not to have prepared anything, Abby's evil mother decided to cook some instant noodles as the main entree, with the protagonist watching as her callous mother took out expired packs of noodles to prepare for her, Amber and her father, while she went to the basement to get a fresh pack for herself and her husband. After the food was served, Amber sent her plate to Abby's mother and asked her to try it, with the villainess stating that she had her own.
After Amber pointed out that Abby's mother was spotted cooking separately, Abby's father claimed that his daughter liked her food less spicy, after which Amber stated that she preferred spicier portions. Abby's mother stood up and accused her daughter's best friend of being rude and refused to eat Amber's food and after her husband attempted to calm her down, the villainess boldly confessed to her daughter that she and her husband purposely fed her expired food. Regarding her twisted reasoning, Abby's evil mother stated that she and her husband hated their daughter and that she was a burden to them, adding that they shouldn't have to waste their money on good food for Abby when (in their minds) she didn't deserve the leftovers.
The callous and deranged villainess lambasted her daughter for taking long to figure out the truth, and even told Abby that she should be thanking them due to the fact that she was immune to expired food. As Abby broke down and cried, Amber's father stood up and took both of Abby's parents into custody. Afterwards, Abby and her brother temporarily lived with Amber and her father until the protagonist left to live on her own.
